Situated on the Southern Shores of Lake !Gariep, stretching from the Dam wall in the West and past Bethulie in the East. This 16000ha Reserve consists of Plains game.

 There are two types of accommodation available on the Reserve.

• Apies Bay – this is a rustic cabin that offers basic, rudimentary accommodation.

• Komweer Lodge – this is an upgraded farmhouse that comfortably sleeps 9 people.

• There is also an outside entertainment Boma available.

The birdlife in the Reserve is wonderful and there are plenty of super hiking trails to go on.
